MD Equinox 800 Description
The Equinox800 detector has no limited application scope. This metal detector can adapt to all soil conditions and... capable of detecting all types of targets, including gold nuggets and artifacts.
This metal detector uses multi-frequency technology. It’s called Multi IQ. It’s a new, efficient technology that offers greater depth. Detectors equipped with Multi IQ technology operate on multiple frequencies simultaneously (Multi, 5, 10, 15, 20, 40 kHz). Since each frequency has its own specific depth and sensitivity capabilities, the Equinox800 achieves optimal detection range and sensitivity. Consequently, results will be maximized, and this detector offers greater benefits compared to detectors that do not use multi-frequency technology.
Simply choose a location. Start detecting gold and other metal objects. You'll start seeing results right away.
This detector is also quite good in terms of features. There are four detection modes to choose from: Park, Beach, Field, and Gold.
Each mode can save two custom settings. So, there are eight search modes in total. Of course, you can also save your favorite settings.
This metal detector is waterproof and can be used in watery locations such as beaches, rivers, lakes, or streams. It's waterproof to a depth of 3 meters below the surface, making it suitable for diving, a key feature in Indonesia. The device is sturdy and robust.
This metal detector can also distinguish the type of metal objects in the ground. With the Target ID feature, you can determine whether an object is ferrous or non-ferrous (gold, etc.). Accurate and fast. No need to dig again just because you find metal debris like nails, packaging, etc. Save time. No more missing targets and gold. So you can ignore unwanted targets.

Detector Mode
Gold
High frequencies, typically 20-40 kHz, are preferred. This frequency allows the detector to detect small gold grains, such as gold nuggets, in highly mineralized soil. This mode is also suitable for searching for gold in abandoned mines or mine waste. There's usually a significant amount of gold left behind in such locations, making it worth searching for with a detector.
Park
This mode is suitable for locations such as parks and public places.
Field
If you are looking for relics, coins or antiques, this is the recommended method.
Beach
This mode is specifically for fields with water and high mineralization (salt), such as beaches. So, if you want to use the detector in coastal areas or watery locations, please use Beach mode.
