Testing and Analyzing
Is that a metallurgical test and why is that important?
Metalurgy Testing Definition
Metalurgy testing covers two main aspects:
Quantitative Testing ▪ Measure valuable element/logs/messile and elemental agents (e.g. fire action, XRF, ICP-MS).
Qualitative Testing ▪ study mineralogi, texture and morphology or concentrate samples (e.g. XRD for fasa identification, SHEM/TEM for morphology analysis and micro-memology, auto-molem map.)
Why It Matters
Process Design Right Target
Qualitative data (mineralogical & texture) determines the process of the practice of the flux or gravity and reagenable types. The quantity of data ensures reagenative doses and optimal energy.
Recovery & Grade prediction
The qualitative-dentitative combination models how much metal can be restored and the concentratable quality.
Minimizing Operational Risks
Knowing abrasive, corrosive, or toxic minerals (arsen, mercury) prevents engine damage and environmental problems.
Risks If Not Done
The nesting process is expensive and slow.
Lowly recovery because methods do not match ore characters
Over/under-dosing reagen, swell costs
Early equipment damage caused by aggressive minerals
Environmental contamination by untamed harmful components
By testing complete metallurgy, your tributary and qualitative, you ensure effective processing channels, efficient costs, and safe operations.
