DESCRIPTION
Bangka Bor used to sample materials from below the surface before the area was opened using excavator or other production equipment. By drilling at a number of planned points, users could get general description of the underground conditions And the spread of a potential mineral-infested layer.
This system is primarily used on Early exploration for alluvial gold, tin, heavy mineral sand, flood plains, river terraces, and old river streams that have covered new materials.
The drill bangka doesn't produce drill cores like diamond drilling. the result should be classified based on long pipe intervals.
When using a pipe of 2 meters long, the natural sample classification is:
010 feet [01010 m]
210 feet [11010 m]
4'4,"6 feet [14]
6'8 " feet [16]
The sample division into a smaller interval than the length of the pipe can provide a precision that does not match this method of ability.

A funny line of work for a BANGBOR
The material that fits Bangka Bor is mainly a form of uncontained alluvial soil and a relatively uncontained aluminum deposit, such as:
Surface soil
Sand
Sand mixed with pebbles
Subtle curls to medium (<2 cm)
Altuvial burst
Materials of river deposits and flood plains
Bangka Bor wasn't designed to penetrate all types of soil.
The thick, sticky clay may inhibit or stop drilling; it can attach to the drill system, increase the prisoner, and make it difficult to remove the pipe.
The large rock layer or the boulder also became impenetrable using Bangka Bor. drilling usually had to be stopped or the drill point moved.
The following materials can cause fluiding refusal:
Thick, sticky clay
Boulder
Large stones
The crevices that have been cemented
Very dense layers
Hard base rocks
Driling refusal does not necessarily mean that the drill has reached the bedrock, which can be caused by boulders, solid layers, cemented materials, or other soil conditions.
MOTOR SYSTEM, TRIPOD, AND HOIST
Bangka Bor's operation manually allows for certain conditions, but the deeper the hole, the longer and heavier the pipeline that must be controlled.
In some types of soil, pulling the pipe back to the surface can be very difficult. the falling material around the hole, friction, and the effects of sucking can withstand a strong pipeline.
The most effective configuration uses:
- Motor to help with the drill playback
- The tripod is stable on top of the drilling point.
- Tracker, winch, or hoist to pull the pipe
- Compatible cable or chain lift
- Clamp to hold and control the pipe
Tripod acts as a vertical point of lift, while the hoist helps to pull the pipeline more in control.
Motor configuration, tripod, and hoist give some advantage:
- Reduce the operator's physical load
- Makes the pipeline easier
- Speed up work at every drill point
- Increase control of pipeline
- Reduce the risk of pipe release or could not be removed
- Allows work at greater depth than full manual system
The tripod, cable, clamp, and hoist capacity must be adjusted to the maximum weight of pipelines and operational conditions in the field.
SAMPEL CLICIFIC AND TAKING
The material brought to the surface must be recorded by drilling intervals.
If the pipe is used at a length of 2 meters, the sample should be recorded as an interval of 2 meters. For example:
- Sample 1: ~0
- Sample 2: ~210 feet [1210 m]
- Sample 3: ~4110 feet [114 m]
- Sample 4: ~6110 feet [18 m]
Each sample can be checked by:
- The dominant type of material
- Sand content
- Consumption and the size of pebbles
- Clay content
- The existence of black sand
- Heavy mineral content
- Gold obtained after a breakdown
- General changes compared with previous intervals
Bangka Bor results are indications of exploration and must be interpreted along with data from other drill points, pit tests, mappings, and field geological observations.
HOW IT WORKS
The drill head is placed at the point of exploration, then rotated to penetrate the layer of soil. The rotation can be performed manually using a handle or with motor support.
As the depth increases, the additional pipeline is connected to the drill sequence. The material from the bottom of the hole will either go in or be carried by the drill head and drilling pipe.
Once one drill interval is complete, the pipes are pulled back to the surface, material obtained and then collected, recorded, and checked.
Since there are still material residues in the pipe, samples cannot be considered core continuous with very accurate depth placement. Samples must be recorded based on work intervals that match the length of the pipe used.
The result of several drill points is then compared to the estimate:
Cover layer thickness
The existence of sand and pebbles
Heavy mineral interval
The depth of the drilling barrier
The change in land conditions between points
The area worth testing further.
BANG BURGES FOR WHO
Bangka Bor fits the use of those who want to get a preliminary picture of subsurface conditions before digging or investing in production equipment.
Alluvial gold exploration team
Mining company
Mine operations
Concession holder or mining permit holder
Geologists and field surveys
The exploration contractor
Artisanal and small-scale miners
Project development team
Owners of land with potential alluvial deposits
The party that planned the pit test or the billing
Bangka Bor was very appropriate for early exploration, but instead of a substantiated hard-rock drilling, diamond drilling, or any other special drilling method when geological conditions required higher accuracy and penetration capabilities.
Discuss Your Mining Processing System
Each mining material has different characteristics, such as particle size, mineral content, and material condition. Therefore, selecting processing equipment cannot be done using a single approach for all cases.
We can help evaluate the characteristics of your mine material and recommend the processing systems and equipment that best suit your operational objectives.
